8 Things That Happen During Parking Practice

Parking practice can be the worst part of learning to drive. It can feel as though the set manoeuvres are something you will never grasp. Here are a few things that will happen during your practice, trust us.

1. Your driving instructor will regularly get diagrams out to show you how to park – you nod enthusiastically but it’s still just as confusing
2. You don’t know what way to steer the wheel, it’s like a choreographed dance routine that you just can’t get right
3. You’ll never see the point in the ‘reverse around the corner’ manoeuvre
4. Your driving instructor will order you to freeze as soon as someone or something passes the car
5. Car parks WILL become your worst enemy
6. You’ll always look in your mirrors but don’t actually know what your looking for
7. You’ll hit a parking wall; you will never be able to park. Ever.
